Regardless of the trim selected, the Volvo XC40 Recharge comes with the same engine. All Volvo XC40 Recharge models come equipped with an electric motor that manages 402 horsepower and 486 pound-feet of torque. This engine works with a 78-kWh battery pack and offers standard all-wheel drive.

Staying connected while on the go can be a breeze thanks to a host of impressive tech features. The standard core trim ensures a well-rounded set of tech features that includes a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment display, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity, an 8-speaker audio system, Bluetooth connectivity, and a digital instrument cluster. Stepping to the Plus trim allows for increased tech like a 360-degree camera system. The Ultimate trim flexes the most tech, coming with all the features offered with the Plus trim while also replacing the standard audio system with a premium Harman Kardon audio system.

Interior Features

As with all new Volvo models, the Volvo XC40 Recharge touts a suite of luxurious comfort and convenience features. The Core trim level of the XC40 Recharge offers Darien, CT drivers heated front seats, faux leather upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, a power adjustable driver's seat, and seating for five.
