For individuals unaware, Volvo, everyone's favorite Swedish car maker, has partnered with Geely, a Chinese auto manufacturer. The advantages of the cooperation have been excellent to date.  It enables Volvo to access an expansive market, and it has given them the versatility to produce bold new models and designs that will hopefully be visiting our Stamford, CT showroom in the future.

We learned that one of the new models might be a flagship sedan. A spokesperson at Geely, Li Shufu lately told Chinese media the goal would be to develop a sedan that could compete with luxury carmakers all over the world, offering premium style, performance, comfort, technology, and much more.

Seems like an endeavor that Volvo is more than suited for. In the end, all individual traits we listed above are symbolic of the company, where their designers and engineers still amaze us with the technology and products they continue to produce.

Initial reports claim that the automobile is going to be known as the S100, and would make use of an extended platform based off of the next-generation S80. It's also expected the model is going to be built in Volvo's new production facility in China. As of now, we are uncertain when the model will received a global release.
